Violectric USB Input with 24 Bit / 96 kHz, Tenor for Headphone

This module can be used to retrofit a USB input for Violectric headphone amplifiers.


The USB Type B input is used to connect to a host (PC or NoteBook).

The module is automatically recognized as "Audio Device". It supports the USB 1.0 / 1.1 standard.

It is not a proprietary driver is needed!


The following operating systems are supported:

 - Linux,

 - Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10

 - Mac OS X.

 - Android smartphones from Android 5.0 with "OTG adapter"

 - I-Phones from 5 need a "Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter"



Digital audio data up to 24 bits and sampe rates of 44.1, 48 and 96 are supported.

Attention: 88.2 kHz is not supported.


The electronics include the 24/96-capable USB receiver and a good separate 24-bit D / A converter with 110 dB dynamic and -100 dB THD + N.

The processing of the signal after the converter is done by excellent analog circuits.

The USB input has priority over all other inputs, a valid signal turns off the analog inputs.


If the RCA jacks are switched as output, then the USB signal is output here analog.


The assembly is delivered installed when ordered at the same time as a headphone amplifier.

The subsequent retrofitting is not a problem and is limited to stuck and unscrewed.
